We will take-off from Capua, a town 45 Km north of Naples. The airport is an uncontrolled airfield where no passenger taxes apply. After take-off we will head to Caserta for a view of the magnificent Royal Palace, the location of Mission Impossible III. We will then cross the international airport of Naples next to commercial airliners, and then fly south to the harbor of Naples. After a brief sight of the ancient roman city of Herculaneum you will be able to see the breathtaking view of Naples from the sky: Castle dell'Ovo, the five-star hotels of Naples, the Vomero hill, Mergellina, and Posillipo. After reaching the extinct volcano and island of Nisida we will turn right into the gulf of Pozzuoli. Here you will admire the Italian Air Force Academy, the abandoned old town of Pozzuoli (Rione Terra), the submerged city of Baia, the Miseno lighthouse that lies on an extinct volcano. We will then pass next to the island of Procida and head back to Capua.
The entire sightseeing trip takes one hour of flight. I also offer a carsharing from the center of Naples. The car trip takes 50 min for one-way and your contribution will be only €10.
